Services
Koala Kids Occupational Therapy provide support in your child’s natural everyday environment whether that be school, kindergarten, or home. Koala Kids Occupational Therapists use family centered practise to address your child and family’s unique needs. We work with children between the ages of 2 to 18 years of age who live in the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Narre Warren, Clyde, Cranbourne, Berwick, Pakenham, Koo Wee Rup and Longwarry).
The process involves an initial assessment where the Occupational Therapist complies a comprehensive history in order to understand our clients considerations and priorities for therapy. Observation of the client in different settings, standardised and non-standardised assessments may be used to assist with creating a tailored intervention plan to enhance the clients natural abilities and support their participation in meaningful occupations.

Sensory Processing
Assessing a clients sensory profile to understand how they perceive and respond to sensory information. We respect each clients unique sensory needs and help with adapting environments and routines and assist with developing self-regulation.
Emotional Regulation
Assisting clients to identify and express their emotions and teach coping strategies.
Executive Functioning
Supporting our clients develop strategies to help them with planning, organisation, flexibility, impulse control, time management and problem solving skills.
Fine Motor Skills
Assisting our clients develop their fine motor skills so they can complete meaningful precision tasks such as buttons and zips of on clothes, handwriting, opening containers and using cutlery.
Gross Motor Skills
Supporting our clients develop their coordination and control of large muscles groups in their body so they can perform activities such as riding a bike, balancing, jumping, and hoping.
Self-care Skills
Supporting our clients develop their skills with dressing, grooming and hygiene activities
Meet the Team
Zel
I am a mobile Paediatric Occupational Therapist providing mobile therapy in the suburbs of Eastern Melbourne and West Gippsland from Berwick to Warragul. I graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2018 and have since worked across various private practices.
I have an interest in working with neurodivergent children and teenagers. I take a strength-based approach and work closely with my clients, their family and other professionals to create a holistic and collaborative intervention plan.
My favourite quote I refer to often is Doctor Ross Greene’s: “Kids do well if they can”. I look forward to making a positive difference in my clients lives by supporting them dependent on their unique needs and situation, so they can thrive.
When I am not working or thinking about my amazing clients you will find me reading about my hyper-fixations or spending quality time with my beautiful daughter and husband whether that be walking, hiking, camping, swimming, or attempting to make gourmet food.
